One seed-swap list, several different packets
For a small swap, make only the packets you need. This example uses six varieties and 14 packets — seven print sheets, with the final sheet holding just the two remaining packets.
Example list
- Tomato ‘Golden Cherry’ — 4 packets
- Bean ‘Blue Lake’ — 3 packets
- Calendula ‘Sunset Buff’ — 2 packets
- Basil ‘Genovese’ — 2 packets
- Cosmos ‘Apricotta’ — 2 packets
- Chilli ‘Hungarian Black’ — 1 packet
Enter each variety once in the batch maker; it repeats each packet by the quantity you choose. Add a harvest year only when you know it. A short note such as “seed swap table” can help recipients, but avoid cramming growing instructions into the packet.
Before you make a whole batch
Print one sheet at 100% / Actual size. Measure the 50 mm line, then cut, fold, glue and close one packet. The digital layout is checked for its specified dimensions; whether it folds and closes well with your printer, paper and glue is only confirmed by that physical trial.
